Hanoi – Sa Pa - Ha Long - Hue - Hoi An - Nha Trang – Sai Gon - Cu Chi - Tay Ninh - Mekong Delta - Sai Gon
(14 Days/ 13 Night)

Day 1: Ha Noi arrival: (D).
When you arrival in Noi Bai Air-port (Hanoi), you will be picked-up and transferred to the hotel for check in. In the afternoon, you will visit La Hang fashion designer (one of the top designer for traditional dress in Vietnam), which is famous for its catchy and unique products. In the evening, you will enjoy the traditional water puppet show. Overnight in Hanoi.




Day 2: Hanoi
– Ha Long – Night train to Sa Pa: (B, L)
The road to Ha Long will lead you through the magnificent landscape of the Red River Delta. From Ha Long you will go for a boat trip through the World Heritage site of Ha Long Bay. The stunning views, limestone caves, offshore islets, sea-bathing on board and the delicious lunch will make this a remarkable trip.

 



We continue cruising on the bay then we dock again at Ha Long City. Our coach will meet us and return us to our hotel in Hanoi for relaxation. In the evening, we will take the night train to Sapa.


Day 3:
Sa Pa – Lao Chai – Ta Van: (B, L, D)
The train arrives in Lao Cai early in the morning (around 6:00 am). You will be woken up and picked up for a drive to Sapa. After refreshing and breakfast in the hotel you will have about 8 km trekking to a village of Lao Chai. After a picnic lunch by a natural waterfall, we will continue trekking around to Ta Van area.  Here you will have dinner and interact with the local hill tribes. You will have a unique experience to sleep at the house of the hill tribes.

Day 4:
Ta Van – Sa Pa Market: (B, D)
Leaving Ta Van, we continue 14 km trekking to Giang Ta Chai. This is a village isolated by high mountains, big waterfalls and thick forests. Have lunch, take a look at several local houses on the way and interact with the minority people who live here. Then on to the main road for a ride back with a jeep to Sapa.
Of course you make a visit to the local colorful market in Sapa where all seven different hill tribes with their own traditional costumes converge from the surrounding countryside to sell their embroidery, silverware and handicrafts and to buy provisions. In the afternoon, we will get a coach to Lao Cai station for the night train back to Hanoi. Overnight on the train

Day 5: Hanoi City tour: (B, L)
You will arrive in Hanoi in the early morning. You will be picked up by coach to your hotel to drop off luggage and have breakfast then get on the coach for city tour.
The full day city tour will show you, Ho Chi Minh’s Residence and Mausoleum, the famous One Pillar Pagoda, visit Galaxy design and advertise company and Art museum. After lunch we visit the Ethnology Museum, Mai Anh gallery and enjoy a cyclo tour in the Old Quarter teeming with streets filled with fascinating shops. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 6: Hue - City tour: (B, L)


After breakfast at the hotel. Our coach will transfer you to Noi Bai airport for the flight to Hue. When we arrival in Hue we check into our hotel. We go to a restaurant for lunch before boarding our private Dragon Boat on the Perfume River, so named because of the Emperor’s incense burner while establishing the site of the Forbidden City. We make two stops to visit the Thien Mu Pagoda and Minh Mang’s Tomb. Sleep in the hotel in Hue.

Day 7: Hue – Hoi An: (B)
Our coach takes us to Hoi An. Hoi An is one of the prettiest towns in Vietnam and a multi - cultural trading centre from ancient times. After lunch, pick up for visiting historic site of the Old Quarter and the sprawling marketplace. Hoi An is famous for its tailoring shops and men and women on the tour will be able to have clothes made for them overnight which can be delivered to our hotel before we leave in the next morning.

Day 8: Hoi An – Da Nang – Nha Trang: (B)


Today you can relax and explore the charming old town of Hoi An, then our car will pick you up for a drive to Da Nang. 
We will have a short visit to Da Nang city before taking the flight to Nha Trang. When you arrive at Cam Ranh airport, you will be pick-up and transfer to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is at your leisure.




Day 9: Nha Trang Relax – Flight to Sai Gon: (B)
Today you will relax in Viet Nam “holiday paradise” of Nha Trang where there are many options such as: mud baths, island boat trips and an 8 km long beach. This is your opportunity to relax a little from the pace of the tour. We will take the flight to Sai Gon in the afternoon. (HCM City is the official name of the city, but the name Saigon is still commonly used).
Upon arrival Ho Chi Minh City, welcome and pickup at the airport to hotel for check in. The rest of the day, you will be free at leisure.

Day 10: Ho Chi Minh City: (B, L)
Breakfast. Visit to the city: Reunification Conference Hall, General Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, and History Museum. After lunch, we will go shopping in the biggest local market in Saigon - Cho Lon.

Day 11: Cu Chi Tunnel & Cao Dai Temple: (B, L)


In the first half of the day we will take a car to the outskirts of the city to experience the famous Cu Chi fighting tunnels, which were never found by the US military. In the afternoon, you will visit Cao Dai Temple in Tay Ninh province, what is known as the centre of the holy chair of Caodaism. This religion includes bits and pieces of most of the religious philosophies known in Vietnam during the early 20th century. You will attend a ceremony at the temple. Please take your shoes off as entering the temple. Then you will return to Saigon for your relaxation.

Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City - My Tho:  (B, L)


The Mekong Delta is an area where boats are still the main form of transport and where rice paddies stretch as far as the eye can see. A day trip to My Tho, take an excursion on the Mekong Delta to see the daily life in Mekong River, visit a fruit garden on the islands and Coconut Candy Factory. Stopover at a Snake Farm on the way back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 13: Sai Gon relaxes. Garment Factory Visit: (B, D)
Today is the relaxing day. So you can relax and explore Sai Gon by your own. In the afternoon, we will visit one of the biggest textile and Garment Company. We close the day with the farewell dinner.

Day 14: Sai Gon departure: (B)

 


This is the saddest day of all – the day we must say goodbye to our new friends, both local and tour members as we go our separate ways to return to our homes. We receive a group photograph, exchange contact details and catch the car to Tan Son Nhat airport for our flights back home. See you again.
