Day 1:  Hanoi – Lao Cai
Pick up at your hotel at 8.30 pm and transfer to Hanoi Railway Station for the night train at 22h00 to get to Lao Cai Station. Overnight o­n the A/C soft sleeper Cabin. (4 pax/cabin or 2 pax/cabin o­n request).
 
Day 2: Lao Cai – Sa Pa – Cat Cat village – Lao Chai – Ta Van Village 6 hours trek 17 km, 3 villages: (B, L, D)
Being picked up at Lao Cai Station early in the morning by our bus. Arrive at Sa Pa round 8:00 AM; Breakfast. Start at 11:00 AM by trekking to the first village of the black H'mong (Cat Cat), walk around visiting people in the village and the hydroelectric power station built by the French in the old days. Take the paths along the valleys between mountains to get to Lao Chai village. Enjoy the overall pictures of the villages among terraces. Visit the H'mong living in wooden and bamboo houses. Continue going to Ta Van village to visit the Dzay minority. Stay the night in Ta Van village at a Dzay family. Picnic lunch on the way and dinner at the home-stay.

Day 3: Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai (5 hour trek, 14 km, 2 villages): (B, L)
Get up early in the morning to enjoy the daily life of the ethnic minorities in the village. Breakfast; take the road to Giang Ta Chai village of the Red Dzao minority via the paths between terraces and through bamboo forests. Visit silver waterfall and suspension Rattan Bridge, visit the people in the village and then cross Muong Hoa River up to the mountain to visit the last village of the trek – Su Pan village of the H'mong. Get back to Sa Pa by jeep. On the way back, enjoy visiting the ancient stone circle where stones are decorated with ancient carvings. Check in hotel.

Day 4: Sa Pa – Bac Ha Market – Lao Cai – Ha Noi. (Overnight on the train): (B, L)
At 7:30 am checking out of the hotel then take the minibus to Bac Ha (arrive at about 10:00 am). On market day you have the opportunity to meet local people from the remote villages in their traditional costumes. There are 4 different tribal groups Flower H’mong, Black Dzao, Tay and Phu La, in the afternoon taking 2 hours walk to visit Ban Pho – A Flower H’mong village that is located in scenic valley. Then bus transfers back to Lao Cai railway station round 16:30 for the over night train to Hanoi.

Day 5: Ha Noi arrival
You will arrive in Ha Noi early in the morning around 5 AM. Return to your hotel is at your own expenses.
