HANOI – HOA BINH (MAI CHAU) – NINH BINH – HAI PHONG – HA LONG - HANOI

 Day 1: Hanoi – Hoa Binh (Mai Chau): (L, D)
Depart early in the morning for a beautiful drive on the hilly road to Mai Chau. Half way, optional, we make stop to visit Hoa Binh Hydro Power Station – The biggest power station in Vietnam. You will arrive at Mai Chau around noon. Have lunch and relax. In the afternoon, we go trekking for 2 hours to visit Lac & Poom Coong villages here you will have chance to see “Tho Cam” - a unique product of Thai people, house on stilts and deep in Thai’s customs by enjoying traditional music show and taste “Ruou Can” – special local wine. Overnight in the home of Thai hill tribe (Ban Lac village).
Visit village of Muong tribe in Hoa Binh. Explore Mai Chau village of white Thai tribe and overnight at their house on stilts.
Day 2: Mai Chau – Ninh Binh: (B, L)
Depart at approximately 8.30 am from Mai Chau. Take a drive to Ninh Binh Province. Visit Tam Coc – known as the "Ha Long bay" inland, take a ride in a sampan to visit Tam Coc, through the rice fields and mountain ranges, visit 3 caves and contemplate the beauty of the natural landscapes. Driving towards to Hoa Lu - The Ancient Capital and the remaining two temples of Dinh King & Le King. Explore country life of Vietnam by passing through villages and rice fields. Spend one night in Hotel at Ninh Binh province.
Day 3: Ninh Binh – Hai Phong – Ha Long: (B, L)
Leaving Ninh Binh, drive to Hai Phong city; visit Du Hang Pagoda and Hang Kenh Temple. After lunch, drive to Ha Long city, free explore Ha Long city, O/N in Ha Long.
Day 4: Ha Long – Hanoi: (B, L)
After Breakfast at the hotel, drive to the harbor get on Deluxe Bai Tho Junk or superior board and cruise through majestic Ha Long bay. Enjoy beautiful landscape of Ha Long bay, naturally formed by Islands and Islets, explore natural cave or sunbathing. Visiting Sung Sot Cave (Cave of Surprise), the most beautiful cave in Ha Long bay with the individual shapes created by splendid stalactites and stalagmites from thousands of years. Enjoy seafood lunch on board, return to Hanoi in the afternoon with many options to satisfy your travel needs. Either drive back to your hotel in Hanoi or Airport, or take one of the following discover Vietnam culture tours: Bat Trang Pottery village (near Hanoi), Dau pagoda or But Thap pagoda. (Discover Vietnam tours are optional and will be quoted separately).
